What to expect from your stay

We know that staying in a luxury pop-up hotel may be a first for many of our guests and they may not know what to expect. Here, we answer those frequently asked questions so guests can arrive fully prepared for the experience.

How comfortable are the beds? 

All of our rooms have real beds with luxury memory foam mattresses. Beds are fully dressed ready for your arrival with quality high thread count linen and 13.5 tog duvets and pillows.

Will I be cold in the night?

No, our tents are used late into the winter without extra heating and are very snug. The heavy duty chino canvas retains warmth and repels bad weather. Our 13.5 tog duvets and additional blankets will keep you cosy, and if you are at all concerned there are always extras available.

What if I need to go to the bathroom in the night?

Each tent comes equipped with a battery powered lantern that can be taken with you in the night. Our corridors are also lit with blue solar powered runway lights to guide your way. The bathroom facilities have both heating and lighting at all times throughout the event.

Is there power in the tents?

There is no mains power to the tent however power supplies for safely charging devices are readily available around the site. Sockets can be found in reception, in the pamper tent close to the facilities and in our bar and lounge. The rooms come equipped with LED bedside lights and a lantern. 

Where can I charge my phone?

Devices can be charged with sockets at multiple locations on site including reception, the pamper tent, the bar and lounge. Past guests have found it useful to bring a portable battery pack for charging in the rooms.

Are the tents secure?

Yes, our tents can be secured by lock and key which is provided. This provides guests with assurance that their personal belongings are secure while they're away from their room. We also have 24hr security on site to prevent intruders. The only guests allowed on the premises are those who have booked rooms, restaurant reservations or by invitation only.

Is the site and grounds secure?

Yes, we have 24hr security and all guests will receive a wristband allowing them to be easily identified.

What happens if it rains?

We can't magic the sunshine but we can make sure that if it does rain this will have minimal impact on your stay. The natural water table in the area allows our fields to drain quickly and efficiently. We have ample trackway for your cars. Waterproof exhibition carpet will be laid out on all main walkways to prevent them becoming muddy. The Grand Folly brolly is provided with every room to keep you dry when walking between the main areas. All of our tents and marquees are made of heavy duty material which will repel the wet weather. With two restaurants onsite, spa treatments, a lounge and fully licensed bar with evening entertainment there will be plenty going on throughout your stay to ensure any rain won't stop play and spoil your weekend.

Is there somewhere to leave my luggage whilst we're at the event?

Yes, there is a secure luggage area at reception if your tent is not ready when you arrive in the morning. Guests may leave luggage here or in your car which is in close proximity to the tented area. 24hr security will ensure you have no cause for concern. If your room is ready you may leave your luggage there and secure it with the lock and key provided.

Can I check in early, leave my car and take a shuttle to the event?

Yes, make the most out of your stay with us by checking in before attending the event and use our complimentary shuttle service. We are here to ensure you can relax and enjoy your day to the fullest.

What time is the shuttle service?

Our luxury minibus runs from 7am - 10:30am and from 4pm - 8pm. If you require a shuttle between these times, just call the front desk and we will arrange a car for you.

Is there an evening meal available?

Yes, you may choose from either of our onsite restaurants. The Windmill Lawns is our fine dining experience serving three course meals with menus inspired by a theme. The Tinwood Live Lounge is our live stage dining experience with tables surrounding the evening entertainment. Choose from classic, simple and delicious dishes to accompany your meal. What time is breakfast? 

Breakfast is included for staying guests and is served between 7am - 10:30am.

Is there a hair salon service onsite?

Yes, our onsite spa & beauty services will be providing hair, make up and nails to help you get ready for the event. For more information and to book your slot please check out our dedicated page here.

Are children welcome?

Yes, we encourage guests to bring their family. We can provide up to two extra beds in your tent, please enquire or select this option when booking. Unfortunately extra beds are available for children under 18 only.
